El Consorci de Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), the first consortium established in Spain (1916), is a public entity for economic dynamisation, which operates mainly in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Its main activity is to manage the Industrial Zone of the Free Trade Zone and its Customs Free Trade Zone, as well as to manage its assets and promote the international projection of Barcelona, Catalonia and Spain in the fair, logistics and real estate sectors. For this, it has more than 12,000,000 m2 of industrial and urban land, in different stages of realization. Its corporate mission is to promote social progress and job creation, from the industrial and logistics implementation, business development and scenarios for economic activity, and technology transfer. In each historical cycle, it has contributed to economic and social growth with pioneering initiatives.
